As an avid flyer, I’m always on the hunt for practical luggage, and backpacks have been a persistent challenge. It often feels like there’s always one crucial feature missing. I’ve experienced this firsthand with my daughter’s Transpack backpack — it’s bulky, cavernous, and everything inside seems to disappear into a disorganized black hole.Enter the Rabbit Rink Backpack — a true standout. Unlike the Transpack, this backpack offers a space for everything. It’s thoughtfully designed, slim (see my comparison with my Samsonite Travel Backpack), and fits perfectly under the seat on any airline. No more fighting for overhead space! What sets it apart is its functional storage. There’s a dedicated spot for a laptop, iPad, phone, chargers, a book, tights, and even that one costume we never want to check in. And the trolley sleeve is the icing on the cake — easily sliding onto my carry-on handle so I can glide through the airport with ease. Every feature feels purposeful and user-friendly.If I could suggest two improvements, they would be: 1. A mesh sleeve on the strap for quick access to a tram, train, or bus card, especially useful when navigating public transportation. 2. A quick-release strap lock to secure the backpack to a chair in public places (Osprey lovers will know the value of this!).That said, even without these additions, this backpack is already a game-changer. It’s a much-needed upgrade for the skating world and a must-have for anyone looking for the perfect carry-on companion. Form, function, and thoughtful design — the Rabbit Rink Backpack checks every box. Absolutely perfect!
