I am liking these socks! The +MD 6pk Mens Bamboo Ankle Socks Extra Heavy Full Cushioned. I’ve been wearing them everyday now for a month and a half. They feel so much nicer than cotton: soft with a slight hint of silkiness, and definitely breathable. Odor resistance seems good—I wear leather boots a lot, so… you know how that can be with regards to odor.I haven’t had any problems related to their construction; nothing falling apart, no holes, etc.The only issue I have—but this won’t necessarily be an issue for everyone—is that they are a little tight around the top, and I do get pretty noticeable indentations around my ankles. However! I am a woman in her early 40s who is a little susceptible to swelling around the ankles and feet. So, take that for what it is. The good thing is that the elastic holds them up well.Regarding washing: I use a front-loader and wash them on a regular cycle; but if you use a top-loading machine, it might be a good idea to use a gentle/delicate cycle, and only use a regular cycle if they’re really dirty. However, I don’t think it would be too bad for them if you always used the regular cycle; I don’t know for sure, I could be completely wrong, but it could potentially affect their durability and lifetime.Drying: I’ve been drying them in the machine on low heat only. Hang-drying will, of course, be the best for them with regards to lifetime. But if you use a dryer, only use low heat. They will appear to have shrunk, but don’t worry, this is mere appearance. Put them on and they will immediately loosen up back to their original size. (I think the knit sort of “contracts” and pulls itself inward from the washing and drying. That’s why I say “loosen up” instead of “stretch”. I have a lot of wool socks, and it’s definitely not like how wool socks shrink, which is more permanent, and stretching them actually breaks some of the fibers. So, the bamboo is nothing like that.)
