These are not big calves friendly and do not put these on directly after the shower even if you dried off. It can be quite difficult to wiggle your feet in and if you have large calves, these wont go up as high. My calves are not that large and i had to sorta shimmy the sock up my leg. I still loved how they kept my feet warm in winter and with these weather fluctuations, im glad my feet have been cozy.I really wanted to review these to help people on the fence from some of the so-so reviews, and give basic facts to help them decide.These are very warm socks, however probably not as warm as a really good quality slipper. However, I don't love wearing slippers in the house and just prefer a nice cozy warm sock that I don't mind curling up on the couch in and putting my feet under me. Slippers can get uncomfortable for that.YES, the fleece lining inside is a little odd and can turn around a bit/not be straight on the foot. However, this personally doesn't bother me and you can straighten it out to make it more comfortable.Now for the size issue. It's true the inside doesn't really stretch. I am a female in my 40s with a size 7.5 - 8 foot and they fit me JUST FINE. They are easy to get on and off as well.For the price, I'm super happy with these and wear them pretty much every night when I get home from work and all day on the weekends when I'm just hanging around the house.I hope this helps with anyone trying to decide on these for kicking around the house during the cold winter days!Sock slippers are warm, soft, and look just like the pictures. They are true to size. I gave 4 stars because the fluff inside does seem to bulk and get bunchy by toes,but it doesn't bother me.Comfy and cozy..my feet are toasty warm now that I have these socks. I have cold feet. I don't wamt to take them off.Ordered these for my mom, but I accidentally sent it to my address. I was going to return them, but my husband convinced me to keep them. Glad I did! My feet are always cold, & they are so warm & cozy! Love them!Slipper socks are just as described. Very soft and warm. I was in the washer and lay out to dry or dry on low and they seem to be holding up well. Love the rubber knobbies on the sole. Helps to stop you from slipping on tile or hardwood. Would definitely buy again.I wanted a extremly comfort fit and style with Highest Quality and that's exactly what I got, I wear a Man's size 9 and after your wash them they fit with total COMFORT! will be buying more just to not run out of them. They keep me warm down to 30 Degrees outside. Of course your feet are being warmed with the fleece.i will be buying many more.if I'm indoors they are on my feet ,they are slipper socks so no risk of sliding on floors .brilliant buy.wash well.I have a pair of expensive sea salt house socks and wanted something for when they are in the wash. These easily compare, and are much cheaper. Thick snuggly and toasty warm. Non slip feet as well. A little bit of an effort to get on and off but they stretch a bit. Bargain and great buy. These are now my WFH footwear of choice ?These could be really nice socks, but the fluffy lining in one of the pink socks I received seems to have been stitched incorrectly on the toe, so it bunches up & is uncomfortable, the lining also seems to twist & become uncomfortable. The black pair seem to be two completely different sizes, one fits very well, the other is far too tight, so I'll probably have to throw them out. Pretty disappointing really. If the socks were finished & sized properly they'd be brilliant because they are very warm and thick.Bought as a gift for my wife she finds them very comfy and warm. That said, heed the other reviewers’ warnings to err on the larger size. They appear a little smaller than other equivalent shoe/sock sizes. We ordered slightly larger than required and they are perfect.I got a siz8 5 as I'm a 5 but they definitely was not a 5 one pair would not go on and the pink ones I got on but was that tight I had trouble getting it off as I'm disabled I was so looking forward to them as my feet are so cold so make sure you get bigger or make sure they are the size you ordered I had to give them away
